About El Marena
Our story
A small eco resort near Chera Dip
El Marena Eco Resort sits near Chera Dip beach on Saint Martin's Island, Bangladesh's only coral island. We keep things simple: wooden cottages, a few tents, an open-air restaurant and plenty of time by the sea.
TODO(content): the owners' story — who runs El Marena, and when and why it started.

Eco
Light on the island
Saint Martin's Island is small and fragile. We try to keep our footprint light.
Wooden cottages on stilts
Our cottages are built of wood and raised off the ground among the island's greenery.
Solar panels
Solar panels on site help power the resort.

TODO(content): other eco practices — water, waste, plastic.
Please help us keep the island clean: take your rubbish with you and leave the coral and rocks as you found them.
